The second annual edition of The Bridge returned on Saturday, September 16, 2017, showcasing more than 100 rare and vintage cars alongside a new art fair featuring six world renowned contemporary galleries. Hosted at its namesake, The Bridge golf club, built on the grounds of the former Bridgehampton Race Circuit and marking its 60th anniversary in 2017, guests at the invite-only event enjoyed a sunny afternoon sipping fine wines selected by prestige wine & spirits retailer Sherry-Lehmann and enjoying gourmet bites from Smorgasburg.
Presenting sponsor for the event, Swiss watch manufacturer Richard Mille, displayed several of its newest timepieces as Founder Richard Mille, a vintage car enthusiast himself, perused the vast array of automobiles showcased. NetJets exhibited a full-size mock-up of their popular Cessna Citation Latitude, while Bell Helicopter and their Bell 429 VVIP greeted guests upon arrival.
The new art fair component was organized by Suzanne Butler, Max Levai, Pascal Spengemann and artist Lars Fisk. It featured select works from Marlborough Contemporary, David Zwirner, David Kordansky, CANADA Gallery, Karma, and Mitchell-Innes & Nash presented within Lars Fisk-designed doublewide shipping containers.
